Submissions for our 2024 Winter Reading catalogue and promotion close 23 April

Submissions for The Coalition’s 2024 Winter Reading catalogue are open. The submission deadline is 5.00 pm Tuesday 23 April.

The campaign is a celebration of new Aotearoa books and is aimed at promoting and showcasing the best Aotearoa NZ published books over the winter months.

This year’s catalogue will include a section for books on Matariki. The catalogue will be released in the lead up to Matariki (28 June) and inserted to New Zealand Listener subscribers in the edition released 17 June (cover date 22 June).

Please submit:

-        Aotearoa NZ books for adults and children
-        across all categories
-        published between 01 March and 31 July 2024
-        2024 release Matariki titles for the Matariki books section

A printed version of the catalogue will be inserted to New Zealand Listener subscribers in the 22 June (cover date) edition, and will be available in booksellers and select libraries around the motu. A digital campaign will promote a digital version of the catalogue with clickable links to the books online via social media and the Kete Books website.
