Allen & Unwin NZ appoints Melanie Laville-Moore as Managing Director

The Allen & Unwin Publishing Group is thrilled to announce the promotion of Melanie Laville-Moore to the newly created role of Managing Director Nw Zealand.

Melanie has led Allen & Unwin NZ since 2006 and has guided it from fledgeling satellite office to the New Zealand publishing powerhouse of today. Allen & Unwin NZ has been voted Publisher of the Year three times in the last six years, in 2016, 2018 and 2020. Melanie is also a previous President of the New Zealand Publisher’s Association and is the inaugural Chair for the pan-sector organisation, the Coalition for Books.
