Registrations now open for Readers and Writers Akaroa (RAWA) 2026 programme

Designed especially for readers and writers, RAWA is pleased to present their 2026 programme. Registration is now live on their website.

The two-day registration provides the full RAWA experience; an enriching opportunity to meet all the wonderful speakers in attendance. Come and spend the weekend with RAWA and enjoy the Open Mic Poetry Night on Friday night at the Madeira Hotel. Open Mic is a free community event.

If you can’t stay for the full RAWA weekend then come for the day! One-day registrations for Saturday and Sunday programming are packed full of exciting sessions for lovers of fiction and non-fiction.

By popular demand, Michael Bennett is returning to RAWA. His workshop takes place on Friday from 10am-5pm. Please note: Michael’s workshop requires separate registration and payment.

Saturday and Sunday workshops are included in your registered days, but they are limited entry so if you are interested in workshops be sure to book early to secure a place.
