Christmas Catalogue 2021

Christmas is coming up fast! The Coalition for Books will produce a Christmas catalogue featuring approximately 60 local titles in 2021, both in print and digitally.

The format will most likely be (as in 2020) an A3 double-sided colour brochure folded to A5 size. At least 47,000 copies will be distributed in late November: an insert for New Zealand Listener subscribers, to independent booksellers, and libraries in the main centres.

A social media campaign backed by paid advertising will feature books from the catalogue along with links to the downloadable digital version. Publishers will be provided with relevant social tiles for their own social media channels.

Submissions for the Catalogue: deadline Friday 24 September

New Zealand publishers are encouraged to submit titles for the 2021 Christmas Catalogue. Details should be inserted into the Submission Form and sent along with a high-resolution jpeg of the books’ cover by 5.00pm on Friday 24 September to jill.coalitionforbooks@gmail.com

Three independent booksellers will make a selection of approximately 60 titles for the catalogue. Publishers will be advised of selected titles on Monday 4 October.

Submission Cost:

Full price (no discount) $240 + gst per title

Coalition Member price (33% discount) $160 + gst per title
