The Mātātuhi Foundation's May 2021 Funding Round Opens

Date:
8 May 2021

Calling all literary innovators!

Set up to help strengthen and develop Aotearoa's literary landscape, Mātātuhi Foundation supports Kiwi writers to develop new and imaginative ways to increase their reach and engagement with Kiwi readers via seed funding grants of up to $5,000.

Watch the Mātātuhi Trustees talk about what they are looking for in a project or check out the project showreel to see some of the projects they have funded to date. Submissions must be completed online by 31 May.

Each year, the Foundation aims to distribute up to 10, one-off grants of between $2000 - $5000.

The Foundation will only acknowledge Expressions of Interest submitted via the online EOI form.

Successful and unsuccessful submissions will be notified within 6 weeks of the funding cut-off dates.

Any agreed funding will be subject to a commitment to appropriate funder attribution, case-study representation on our website and post-project reporting.
